This Program aims firstly to ensure all students enjoy weekly classes and share in the joy of music.
Singing, movement, reading notation and instrument playing are all features of each music class. The learning content is based on the Victorian curriculum, and incorporates, Kodaly and Orff learning strategies.
Instrumental
We have acquired a large range of quality instruments for students to enjoy, including: guitar, ukulele, violin, cello, piano, drum kit and African drums.
Singing
Our school has rich tradition in singing. There is a Senior and Junior Choir as well as an inter school choir which rehearses after school. The choirs engage in a wide variety of community and interschool events including performances.
